Indian journo visits The Daily Star Ctg bureau
Renowned Indian writer and journalist Dr Partha Chattopadhyay visited the Chittagong bureau office of The Daily Star yesterday evening.
He met reporters of the bureau and discussed different issues including present trend of journalism in India and Bangladesh.
Dr Partha, who stayed for five months in Bangladesh during the Liberation War in 1971 to cover the war as a reporter of Anandabazar of West Bengal.
Invited by the Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Dhaka University (DU) Dr Partho arrived on September 20 in a 17-day visit here.
He also delivered lecture at a three-day workshop organised by the journalism department of Chittagong.
