Boy sustains burn injury in Ctg
An adolescent boy sustained burn injuries as a chemical loaded drum fell on him here yesterday.
The injured Mohammad Hanif, 11, is the son of Shahidul Islam and a resident of Majhirghat area in the city.
Police said Hanif while playing with his friends near Nahar Building at Barik Building intersection at around 2:00pm, when the security guard of the building started chasing him. While fleeing the spot, Hanif fell and in the process pushed over a drum loaded with chemicals and sustained severe burn injuries on his left leg.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital and was under going treatment at the Medicine Ward No# 24.
