Plot on to establish Baksal: Noman
BNP central committee Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman yesterday said the present government is hatching conspiracy to establish "Baksal" in the country through its "autocratic" rule.
BNP with the country's people will resist the move and never allow Awami League (AL) for materialise such dream.
In the name of trial of war crimes, AL is bringing "false and fabricated" allegation against their leaders and workers, Noman said while addressing a function of freshers' reception on Rangamati Government College campus as the chief guest.
Stressing the need for involvement of indigenous people in national politics, former livestock minister Noman said indigenous people must be included in BNP for strengthening the hand of Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia.
He said without development of indigenous people, the national development is quite impossible.
College unit Jatiyatabadi Chhattra Dal (JCD) organised the event.
Chaired by Amzad Hossain Nanthu, the function was, among others, addressed by Rangamati district unit BNP President advocate Dipen Dewan, secretary Shah Alam, JCD central Joint Secretary Anwarul Haque Royel, district unit JCD President Abu Sahdat Sayem and Secretary Jahangir Alam Talukder.
