BSMMU launches orthopedic OT
The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) launched a separate operation theatre (OT) for the department of Orthopedic Surgery yesterday so that the patients don't have to wait for operation for a long time.
Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Pran Gopal Datta inaugurated the two-bed OT at the 7th floor of D block.
A discussion was also held. Chairman of the department of Orthopedic Surgery Prof Dr Anwarul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellors Dr Mohammad Shahidullah, Dr Ruhul Amin Mia, Dean of the faculty of Surgery Kanak Kanti Barua were present.
