DU sets up fund for research on Tagore
Dhaka University yesterday formed ''Rabindra Study Trust Fund'' to provide scholarships to students and teachers who will do MPhil and PhD on Rabindranath Tagore.
Tagore researcher and eminent poet Ahmed Rafique handed over Tk five lakh to DU for establishing the fund, said a press release.
Every year, a student or teacher of Bangla department would be awarded scholarship for research on the literature and life of Rabindranath.
