Follow constitution to keep people's trust
Delwar urges CJ
BNP Secretary General Khandaker Delwar Hossain yesterday urged the chief justice not to do anything that would lead people to lose confidence in the judiciary.
“For God's sake, keep the dignity of people's trust by following the constitution properly,” he pleaded the chief justice hinting at party chairperson Khaleda Zia's case regarding her cantonment house.
While addressing a discussion organised by Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, Delwar alleged that the government obstructed the way of justice by interfering into the judiciary.
Sramik Dal President Nazrul Islam Khan presided over the meeting at Diploma Engineers' Institution auditorium in the city marking the “National Revolution and Solidarity Day”.
