Under-trial prisoner dies
Mohammad Jalal, 32, a prisoner under-trial, died in the prison cell of Barisal Medical College Hospital yesterday.
Jail Superintendent Sagir Ali said Jalal was a cancer patient and died while under treatment.
Police said Jalal was arrested on October 2 in connection with a theft case.
