JU to start admission in five units on Nov 22
The Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities will start admission of students to the first year honours courses under the academic session 2010-2011 in Ka, Gha, Uwa, Cha, and Chha units on November 22.
The selected students will be able to collect admission forms from the unit offices on November 22 and 23 on the basis of merit list. The students will have to get admitted on November 24 and 25, said a press release yesterday.
They will have the opportunity to change their subject on November 28 on condition of vacant seats and on the basis of merits.
The students who are remaining in the waiting list from 1 to 1,000 are requested to be present at the respective unit office from November 29 to December 1, and the students from 1,001 to 2,000 from December 5 to 9 with necessary documents.
The students who want to get admitted in freedom fighters quota in those units will have to submit application in a specific form from November 22 to 25.

Dates of admission tests for Kha and Ga units will be announced later.
