Ctg Bijoy Mela from Dec 1
The month-long "Bijoy Mela" begins through the lighting of the "Bijoy Shikha"in the port city on December 1.
'Mukti Juddher Bijoy Mela Parishad' will arrange the fair with a slogan 'Victory of liberation war, pride of the nation'.
All necessary preparations of the fair are almost complete, the organisers announced at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club (CPC) yesterday.
Six pavilions, bookstalls, small and cottage industrial organisations, and big industrial organisations of home and abroad will participate in this fair with their goods and services.
On 'Bijoy Mancha' in the fair, national leaders and war heroes will speak about the liberation war. Solo, group cultural programmes, poetry recitation, drama, films on liberation war, photographs on liberation war would be performed, presented and screened in the fair.
