Ranada Prasad's anniversary of birth tomorrow
Tomorrow is the 114th birth anniversary of Ranada Prasad Saha (RP Saha).
To mark the day, different educational and health institutions under The Kumudini Welfare Trust (KWT), established by RP Saha, and villagers of Mirzapur will organise various programmes at Kumudini Complex and Ranada Nat Mandir at his ancestral house in Mirzapur.
Programmes include special prayer, religious songs, voluntary blood donation and offering of special diet to patients at Kumudini Hospital.
The villagers will also organise a discussion at Ranada Nat Mandir. A cultural function will also be held at Ananda Niketan in Kumudini Complex.
Pakistani army with the help of their local collaborators abducted RP Saha from his Narayanganj residence on May 7, 1971 and killed him.
