Celebrating Eid-ul-azha

People throughout the country celebrated Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday with due fervour, enthusiasm and festivity. On the occasion, President Zillur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia exchanged pleasantries with foreign diplomats and people from all walks of life. City dwellers, especially children, thronged amusement parks like the Shishu Park at Shahbagh and the Dhaka Zoo in Mirpur in the city.
