The government is working to build a skilled, disciplined and strong army utilising the information technology, said the president. Earlier, the president addressed the 4th Reunion of National Standard Presentation at the Bogra Cantonment where he described Bangladesh Army as the symbol of pride and a national asset. “Armoured Corps is the senior corps in the army and its main objective is to destroy the morale of the enemy in the war field,” he said, adding that the role of this corps is indispensable to win battles. Zillur said every member of the Armoured Corps is always ready to contribute in the peacekeeping activities both at home and abroad, being inspired by the great motto - 'Sacrifice life, not honour'.
