1 killed in road accident in Panchagarh
A woman was killed and two others injured in a road accident on Panchagarh-Debiganj road at Kaliagonj village under Boda upazila in Panchagarh on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Shumitra, 35, of Domer village under Domer upazila in Nilphamary district.
Police said the accident occured at about 5:00pm when a bus hit a motorbike, injuring three of the bike riders seriously.
Locals rushed them to Panchagarh Sadar Hospital where Shumitra died.
The injured Maloti, 16, and Babu Lal, 23, were shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
