BNP creating anarchy over the house: BCL
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday said BNP is trying to create anarchy in the country over the cantonment residence that the Leader of the Opposition Khaleda Zia lost in a legal fight.
At a rally on Dhaka University campus, top-ranking leaders of BCL also alleged that the main opposition BNP is plotting to foil the war crimes trial. They urged the government to finish the trial to get the nation rid of a stigma.
Earlier, the BCL activists brought out a procession from Madhur Canteen, which marched through several streets of the campus to Aparajeyo Bangla.
Central BCL leaders including Mahamud Hasan Ripon, Mahfuzul Haider Chowdhury Roton, and DU unit leaders Sohel Rana Tipu and Sajjad Sakib Badsa, among others, addressed the rally.
