PLC lab opens at N'ganj
A programmable logic controller (PLC) lab has been launched in Bangladesh Institute of Marine Technology (BIMT), Narayanganj.
Lee Jung Wook, resident representative of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Bangladesh Office, and Khorshed Alam Chowdhury, director general of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), inaugurated the lab on December 2, said a press release.
This PLC lab has been established by Korea Overseas Volunteers (KOVs) with the financial assistance of KOICA. The PLC lab is equipped with modern computer facility and would be used for controlling all types of automatic machineries. This PLC lab is mainly based on mechanical contact, electrical signal and digital computer programming for controlling machinery and process on factory assembly lines and automatic lines.
