DU set to celebrate Victory Day
Different social and cultural organisations of Dhaka University will hold a colourful programme under the banner Rokte Ranga Bijoy Amar to mark the Victory Day on December 16.
The effigies of war criminals were burned and documentary films screened on the university campus yesterday afternoon as part of the victory day celebration.
DU will observe the day with different programmes including art exhibition, dirt throwing at the cartoons of Razakars, celebrating the victory moment, screening film, and flying fanush (colourful balloons).
Different organisations of DU jointly organised the programmes.
