Shahida Begum, mother of lawyer Sirajul Islam Babu, passed away at Thanapara in Sadar upazila yesterday due to old age complications at the age of 78, says a press release. She left behind her five daughters and three sons. She was buried at Gaibandha Poura Graveyard after namaz-e-janaza. Gaibandha Nagorik Parishad, Gaibandha Theater and JJD Friends Forum condoled her death.
