Review FFs' list to locate fake ones: Dr Mohiuddin
Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir yesterday demanded the government to review the list of freedom fighters to locate imposters and drop them from the government list.
He made the demand at a meeting of the AL-led 14-party combined at AL President Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi.
Dr Khan, also the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on public accounts, told the meeting that there are many imposters who have been enlisted in the list between 2001 and 2007.
“They must be excluded from the list through a review,” he told the meeting as quoted by a meeting source.
He said the 14-party leaders at district and upazila level can help in this regard, meeting sources also told The Daily Star.
