'Teach kids ethics from beginning'
Speakers at a rally have urged the people to be more conscious about ethics and character.
World Religion dept of Dhaka University (DU) and Swami Sharupananda Research Centre jointly organised the event on the occasion of the Character Building Movement Day on January 1, said a press release.
Justice Gholam Rabbani urged the government to recognise the day nationally. DU VC Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique urged parents to teach ethics to their kids from the beginning of their life.
Chairman of the department Dr Quazi Nurul Islam, Prof Jugol Brahmmachari, Dr Paresh Mondol, Father Tapan de Rojario and Dr Prodip Kumar Roy also spoke.
