8 'malam party' men held

Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) yesterday arrested eight members of a crime ring (malam-party) from across the port city and Noakhali district. The arrestees are Sahab Uddin, 27, Amir Hossain, 30, Meraz Uddin, 38, Abu Siddique, 35, Baker Hossain Azad, 27, Abul Kasem, 35, Mosharraf Hossain, 35, and Imran Hossain, 27. All of them hailed from Noakhali.
