Shirin Sharmin reelected chairman of CGPAMG
Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, state minister for women and children affairs, has been elected chairperson of the Commonwealth Gender Plan of Action Monitoring Group (CGPAMG) for the second consecutive year.
She chaired the eighth session of the CGPAMG in New York on Saturday, says a press release.
Representatives from commonwealth countries attended the meeting.
