Cancer diagnosis machine set up at Mitford hospital
An ultra-modern SPEC-CT machine has been set up at the Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Centre of Mitford Hospital.
State Minister for Science and Information and Communication Technology Architect Yeafes Osman inaugurated the machine yesterday.
The machine has been installed at a public sector hospital in Bangladesh for the first time while another machine was set up in a private diagnostic centre. It is used to diagnosis spread of cancer in human body.
