Hermaphrodite's body found in city
Police recovered a body of a hermaphrodite (hijra) in the city's Pallabi on Monday night.
Police found the body of Alauddin, 25, of Shewarapa at night near of a drain at Pallabi's Eastern Housing area. The neck of the body was wrapped with a piece of scruff.
Brother of the deceased Shahabuddin said Alauddin left home at about 7:00pm on Sunday and didn't return home since then. Family sources said he had no previous enmity with anyone.
