Are we the worst?
I enjoy with great delight, RC Travel On anchored and presented by Mr. Shariar Shakil on channel i. On May 9, 2011, while watching this program, it occurred to my mind that by now I have watched scores of episodes of this program.
But so far, I have not seen a single country which is inferior to our dear motherland Bangladesh. A remorse feeling began to work inside me, for the last 40 years I have been listening to Amar Shonar Bangla. Does this Shonar Bangla really exist? Or is this just a hollow term to hoodwink the people?
At the time of independence, I was 12 years old and now I am 52, soon I shall be heading for the grave. Are there any chances, that before my death I shall get to see a real Shonar Bangla?
If not, then I would like to request the anchor Mr. Shariar Shakil through these columns, to show us a country, which is inferior to Bangladesh, then possibly I could console myself.
