BCL men assault four at CU
Activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) assaulted four Pragatisheel Chhatra Jote men yesterday while they brought out a procession at Chittagong University (CU) protesting the signing of production sharing contract (PSC) with ConocoPhillips, a US-based oil company.
When the procession reached in front of Agrani Bank of the university branch, the BCL men assaulted the activists and snatched away their banner, said Probal Majumder, president of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front of the university unit.
