Obituary
Abu Ahmad Abdullah, a former director general of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, passed away at the city's Shamorita Hospital yesterday due to old age complications at the age of 67, says a press release.
He was an uncle of popular actress Subarna Mustafa.
His namaz-e-janaza was held in front of DU central mosque where his relatives, friends and well- wishers participated. He was buried at Mirpur Intellectual Graveyard yesterday.
