Adolescent girl raped
An adolescent girl was raped at Ziala Nalta village in Tala upazila on Thursday night.
The 17-year-old victim filed a case with Tala Police Station accusing Mahabbat Ali of the same village yesterday.
Quoting local people police said the accused Mahabbat Ali, 28, son of Monju Rahman brought the girl in a house at the same village alluring her to marry.
Mahabbat left the house early in the morning after raping her repeatedly at night, police added.
Police sent the girl to Satkhira Sadar Hospital for medical test.
