Four bodies found in Buriganga
Police recovered four bodies from Buriganga river between late Saturday and yesterday noon.
Police suspect that two of the bodies, middle-aged and recovered near Dhaleshwari High School yesterday, were victims of the recent launch accident at Munshiganj.
The only body that could be identified was of Ali Hossain, 28, a scrap trader of Lalbari of Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj, found near Pagla DN road on Saturday.
Police said Ali went missing on Thursday night after two men called him out of his residence. Police suspect that he was shot dead.
Another body was of a youth, aged about 20, found naked and gagged near the bridge at Postogola on Saturday. Police suspected that he was strangulated.
