Two brothers killed in clash
Two brothers were killed and four others of a family were seriously injured in a clash over property at Lohagara upazila in the port city yesterday.
The deceased are Mohammad Hossain, 70, and Mohammad Mohsin, 68.
The injured are Anjuma Ara Begum, 60, wife of Mohosin, her son Mohammad Sahed, 30, Nur Jahan, 62, wife of Mohammad Hossain, and her son Osman Ali, 35.
Police said the family members of the two brothers were engaged in a quarrel over ancestral property yesterday morning and at one stage, Mohosin's family members attacked on Hossain's family with sharp knives and machetes.
