UNB adds: SCF Azizul Haque college unit staged a demonstration on the campus in the morning demanding cancellation of deep sea gas exploration agreement with Conoco-Phillips and steps to solve the country's nagging power and gas crises. BCL activists also asked SCF men to stop chanting anti-government slogans and not to use loudspeaker on the campus. SCF members did not yield to their demand. College Principal Salamat Ullah also asked SCF not to use loudspeaker on the campus which they ignored and continued chanting slogans. Incensed at the refusal, BCL cadres swooped on the demonstration and indiscriminately stabbed the SCF activists leaving them injured.
