Three food factories fined
A mobile court fined three food production and processing factories Tk 1.50 at Chaktai in the port city yesterday.
The mobile court team led by Chittagong City Corporation Magistrate Kazi Mohammad Abdur Rahman fined Anik Vermicelli Factory Tk 70,000 for making vermicelli in an unhygienic environment, Chhayra Oil Mill Tk 50,000 for baking oil in unhealthy environment and KBL Food Products Tk 30,000 as workers were not wearing aprons.
