RU student beaten for protesting stalking
Some activists of Rajshahi University (RU) unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday severely beat a student as he protested stalking his female friend by the party men on the campus.
Nafiz Imtiaj, a third year student of Language department, was admitted to the university medical centre.
Nafiz alleged that a group of BCL activists led by Devid Hossain and Tamimur Rahman severely beat him with iron rods at the university's Tukitaki Chattar around 12:00pm.
Refuting the allegation, David said that he did not know the matter.
