Death anniversary
Today is the first death anniversary of Syeda Maksuma Aref, wife of Dr Margub Aref Jahangir and the eldest daughter of Syed Matinul Haq, says a press release. On the occasion, a doa mahfil will be held at her residence in the city's New Eskaton after Asr prayers. Before her demise, Maksuma worked in Dhaka Ahasania Mission.
