Death threat to Sust JCD leader
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) unit in Sylhet organised a rally near the university campus yesterday protesting the death threat to it's joint convener Al-Mamun.
Al-Mamun who leads 'Sudip-Mamun group' received the death threat through a letter on Wednesday.
The letter having no address sent by one Altaf said, “Mamun, leave the campus immediately, otherwise I shall kill you. Ilias Ali, organising secretary of BNP, will not be able to save you.”
Mamun, a postgraduate student of Sociology department, filed a general diary with Sylhet Kotwali Police Station the same day and informed the university authorities about the matter.
