US Embassy closed Aug 28, 31, Sept 1
The US Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on August 28 in observance of Shab-e-Quadr, and on August 31 and September 1 for the Eid-ul-Fitr, says a press release.
These closures include the Consular Section and the American Centre's Archer K Blood Library and Student Advising Centre.
Both Shab-e-Quadr and Eid-ul-Fitr are Bangladeshi holidays.
Emergency services for American citizens, however, will be available. They are requested to call 885-5500 and ask for the duty officer.
