JCD assault on journos condemned
Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) yesterday condemned the assault on journalists who were discharging their professional duties at a demonstration programme of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in city's Naya Paltan area.
In a joint statement, DRU President Mostaque Hossain and General Secretary Jamal Uddin said a group of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activists of Jagannath University unit assaulted several journalists yesterday without any instigation.
