Obituary
Khaybar Ali, a language movement veteran and organiser of the War of Liberation, passed away at his residence in Joypurhat on Saturday night due to old age complications at the age of 80.
He was buried at his family graveyard with state honour after his namaz-e-janaza at district Central Shaheed Minar on Abul Kashem Complex premises and Diabetes Hospital premises yesterday.
Khaybar also worked as journalist and he was leading single life.
He left behind his adapted daughter, in-law son, grandchildren and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
Different organisations of the district condoled his death.
