Main Eid jamaat at Nat'l Eidgah
Preparations have been made to hold Holy Eid-l-Fitr jamaats (congregation) in the city on Eid day.
The main Eid congregation in the city will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises at 8:30am while five jamaats will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosuqe on that day.
Prof Maulana Mohammad Salah Uddin, Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, will lead the Eid prayers at the National Eidgah.
The five Eid jamaats of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque are scheduled at 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am and the last at 11:15am.
National Mosque sources said there will be separate arrangements for women and foreign diplomats and their wives to perform Eid prayers on both National Eidgah premises and Baitul Mukarram.
