Main Eid jamaats
The main Eid jamaat (congregation) of holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be held at National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the city at 8:30am, if the weather remains favourable.
In case of inclement weather, the jamaat will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:30am, says a press release of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC).
Besides, arrangement for Eid congregation for women will be available at one side of the National Eidgah with a separate entrance.
An Eid jamaat will also be held at South Plaza of Sangsad Bhaban at 8:30pm, says a PID press release.
DCC will arrange 361 Eid congregations in the city (four in each of the 90 DCC wards and one at Dhaka University playground). All necessary arrangements were made including supply of water and setting up of mobile toilets at the Eidgah.
At Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, five Eid congregations will be held at one-hour intervals from 7:00am to 12:00am.
Two Eid congregations will be held at Dhaka University Central Mosque at 8:00am and 9:00am and at Baro Bhat Mosjid in Lalbagh Road at 8:30am and 9:30am.
Three Eid congregations will be held at Babe Rahmat of Dewanbag Sharif at Arambagh at 8:00am, 9:30am and 10:00am.
A congregation will be held at Harun Mollah Eidgah Math in Mirpur-12, one of the biggest Eidgah fields of the city, at 8:00am while congregation of Bangladesh Jamayate Ahlehadis will be held at central playground of Dhaka University at 8:00am.
Eid congregations will also be held at Gulshan Central Masjid and Eidgah Maidan at 8:30am, Nayapaltan Jame Masjid at 8:00am, SOS Shishu Polly Jame Masjid at Shyamoli at 8:15am, Baitul Mamur Jame Masjid at 8:30pm, Dhanmondi Eidgah Maidan at 8:30am, Azimpur Chhoto Daira Masjid at 11:00am and 11:30am and Moghbazar BTCL Jame Masjid at 8:00am.
Channel i will air the Eid congregation live from Sholakia Eidgah Math, the largest Eid jamat of the country, in Kishorganj at 9:30am.
Two Eid congregations will be also be held at the mosque adjoining Channel i Bhaban in Tejgaon at 8:00am and 11:35am.
The main Eid congregation in Sylhet will be held in the city's Shahi Eidgah Maidan at 9:00am.
