Obituary
Jamila Khatun, mother of Zakir Hossain, organising secretary of Workers Party of Bangladesh, passed away at her son's residence at Urea Fertiliser Factory Staff Quarters in Narsingdi due to old age complications on August 28 at the age of 85, says a press release.
She left behind her one son and two daughters to mourn her death.
Workers Party of Bangladesh President Rashed Khan Menon and General Secretary Anisur Rahman and Jatiya Sramik Federation Bangladesh President Hafizur Rahman Bhuiyan and General Secretary Shafiuddin Ahmed expressed deep shock at her death and conveyed sympathy to members of the bereaved family.
