Woman found dead
Police yesterday recovered a woman's decomposed body from a flat at the capital's Bongshal.
Breaking into the flat, police found the body of the unidentified woman, aged around 22, from toilet at about 1:30am.
Jamir Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bongshal Police Station, said locals had informed them about stench. He suspected that the woman was killed six-seven days ago.
Quoting the house owner Rina Hasan, he said, the victim and a man rented the flat on August 30 claiming themselves as man and wife having acquaintance with a security guard of the building.
