Take into account India's past role before signing treaty: Jamaat
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami yesterday asked the government to take into account India's previous activities with Bangladesh prior to signing any new deal with it.
“The government has to take into account the past activities of India before going for signing a new agreement. They (India) had signed the Indira-Mujib agreement, but never implemented it,” said Jamaat acting Secretary General ATM Azharul Islam at a press conference at the party's central office.
