Motorcycle rider dies in road crash
A man riding a motorcycle died after an unknown vehicle hit his two-wheeler from behind at Motijheel in the city last night.
The deceased Mohammad Mamun, 40, a mechanic of Madina Motor Workshop in Kakaril, was going to his Chakbazar residence in Old Dhaka through Culvert Road around 10:30pm.
The vehicle fled instantly, said Raju Ahmed, brother-in-law of Mamun.
Local people rushed Mamun to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
