G3 rifle seized
A G3 rifle was recovered from Raozan upazila in the port city early hours yesterday using information from detained Bidhan Barua, a notorious criminal of the area.
A police team raided the upazila's Andharmanik village and recovered the rifle buried in the bank of a pond beside the house of one Subhash Barua, said police.
Bidhan, who was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion from Feni on September 9, gave the information during his five-day remand starting September 12.
