Obituary
Jahanara Begum, mother of poet Habibullah Siraji, passed away at a hospital in the city yesterday at the age of 78, says a press release. She was buried at Alipur Graveyard in Faridpur. She left behind her two sons, six daughters and host of relatives to mourn her death. National Poetry Council, Group Theatre Federation, Sammilito Sangskritik Jote and Abritti Samannay Parishad condoled her death.
