Two kids drown in Pabna
Two children drowned in a water body at Chandpur village of Santhia upazila in Pabna yesterday.
The deceased were Sajib, 10, son of Abdul Matin of village Gourigram, and his maternal cousin Sujon, 5, son of Suruz Ali of village Chandpur.
Police and family members said Sajib and Sujon went on a boat journey on Gozaria Bill, a water body, in the morning and went missing ever since.
Later, the family members along with locals and police recovered the two bodies from the water body around 2:00pm
Santhia police confirmed the incident.
