Two inmates of central jail die
Two inmates of Dhaka Central Jail died in two city hospitals yesterday.
The detainees were Mohammad Harun, 30, son of Arshed Ali of Kalaia Baufal, Patuakhali and Mohammad Manik, 28, son of Nurul Haque of Motijheel in the city.
Harun was taken from the prison hospital to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after his condition deteriorated yesterday. His body was sent to DMC morgue.
Harun had been in detention at the jail since November 15.
Manik died yesterday in Mitford Hospital where he had been under treatment since November 17. He was accused in a women's repression case with Motijheel Police Station.
Manik's body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College.
