Robbery in two Ctg houses
Robbers looted Tk 66,000, seven tolas of gold ornament and four mobile phone sets from two houses in north Kattali area under Pahartali Police Station in the port city early yesterday.
A gang of robbers broke open the door of the house of Alek Miah, an officer of Janata bank, around 3:00am. They looted Tk 6,000, one tola of gold ornament and two mobile phone sets, said police.
Then they entered adjacent Syed Amin's house and looted Tk 60,000, six tolas of gold ornament and two mobile phone sets.
