AL-JP MEETING AT 7:00PM
Later, at night AL will sit with the Jatiya Party (JP) leaders to discuss about the country's latest political situation. JP Presidium Member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu said 24 of their party leaders and lawmakers will join the meeting with AL. The ruling party sat with the 14-party combine on Tuesday and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) on Monday. The 14-party and the CPB agreed with the AL to work together with other like-minded parties to launch simultaneous political programmes across the country to resist the opposition BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's latest "move to protect the war criminals" and to mobilise public support in favour of the war crimes trial.
