Hawker dies in boat capsize
A teenage hawker died as a boat carrying him capsized in the river Buriganga after being hit by a motor launch at Sadarghat on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Kawsar, son of Ashraf of Jhalakathi district.
Witnesses said the small boat capsized when hit by a passenger launch named MV Red Sun-2 near the terminal around 11:30pm. Later, his body was recovered from the river.
A case was filed in this connection.
